[story of a loser]

a touching story

This is another example of well animated flashes on newgrounds. It not only has great animation, but talks about a subject matter that we can relate to. Everything is set up in a metaphorical way, so that you can more clearly understand the reason why the kid (who is suppose to be like you and me) gets picked on. People who watch this flash should see it for what it is, which is a film with a message, rather than what they want it to be, and those who understand will enjoy this (as I have). Excellently done.

why would anyone compare that to Sin City?

That was a lot better than the movie (joking: in reference to your comment; i personally didn't like SinCity, mostly because I read some of the graphic novels beforehand) Nice to see film noir on NGs. It's a refreshing change of pace from the norm. Keep up the good work, ok guy?

Man if our animation skills are that great when you are bored, then I can't wait for you to not be bored and make a real film. That animation was awesome, but it goes withour saying, the flash didn't make any sense whatsoever. But I liked it anyway. Hope it passes, ok?

how do you make a "hands clapping"sign on the net?

That really deserves applause, cos' that was flawless animation. The graphical details were superb, and although the plot was a bit "cheeky" the overall quality gives it all the redeeming factor it needs. Use what you have learn to make a grander film, as you definitely have the talent to do so.

whoa, i'm confused

did you switch the .swf file? all the reviews are describing 1984, and I saw that movie, but that isn't 1984, it's not even close to big brother. Maybe it's some conspiracy or something, but it wouldn't be the first time someone switched the .swf file (cough! cough! you its true! cough!) Anyway, feel free to respond as nastily or politely as possible for clarification. Thanks ^_^

i just want to thank you

I had to watch a lot of crap submissions today, so to see a flash come along that is as well produced as this one is a refreshing sight. It was very original, the graphics were high quality, and you can tell it was highly produced. My only complaint (and it's so minor) is that the song ends before the video does, but overall, a job well done.

p.s. my computer is 2ghz and 640mb of RAM and the film ran spectacular, as it did on my friends comp, who only has 256mb of RAM.

delivers as promised

Yes, the three sketches were super fast and violent. Yes, it might not appeal to everyone. But is it a bad flash? No. It is very well produced, the humour was very original, and you can tell the author put a lot of time trying to make a quality flash. If you don't get it, that's your problem, you're probably 13 years old anyway, and used to seeing crude humour. A good effort from this author, keep the quality coming.

You should be working at a real animation studio, cos you are easily one of the best animators I've ever seen! Your work is so brilliant, it deserves to be on a larger screen, and is done with so much style and care that you should be getting more than just these self-esteem boosting reviews on newgrounds! I'm adding you to my favourites list, you're great , you're awesome, you're (praise, prasie, praise, praise,praise, praise, praise, praise, praise, praise) What? Too much praise? well, you deserve it. Next feature of yours in a movie theatre, ok?!
